In order to keep its beauty and ensure the safety of construction, colored corrugated steel roofing sheet needs to be polished during the construction. Here, dry, wet and mechanical grinding will be explained to you by CAMELSTEEL.
1. Mechanical grinding: the method may be adopted in the large construction area so as to improve work efficiency. For example, power-driven grinding machine (disc type and vibrating type).
2. Dry grinding: colored corrugated steel roofing sheet is polished by abrasive paper which is suit for the polish of hard and brittle paint. The disadvantage is that operation process will produce a lot of dust and it will affect environmental hygiene.
3. Wet grinding: colored corrugated steel roofing sheet is polished by using waterproof abrasive paper which needs to be put into water and soapy water. This method may reduce the grinding crack and improve the smoothness of coating, as well as save abrasive papers and effort. But we need to pay attention that we may paint on lower levels only after the wet layer is completely dried, or the paint layer is easily whitening. In addition, the high absorbent material is not fit to this method.
